Dr. Dhiren Naidu is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He completed Medical School at the University of Saskatchewan in 1999. He moved to Alberta to complete his residency and fellowship training.
He is an Associate Professor at the University of Alberta. He holds a Diploma of Sport Medicine from the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine.
Dr. Naidu’s clinical interests are in acute and chronic pain, spine and joint related pain, concussion and sport injury. He is a team doctor for Edmonton’s professional hockey and football teams.
Academically, he is involved in undergraduate medical education and his research interests are in concussion and sport injury. He has over 30 peer reviewed research publications. He regularly lectures, including presentations to other Universities and major sport professional leagues, including the NFL, NHL and CFL.
Dr. Naidu is a busy husband and father. In the summer, he enjoys spending time at his family cabin in Saskatchewan.
