Dr. Keith Gibson

Dr. Gibson completed his residency training in psychiatry, which included extensive rotations in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He then became the Medical Director of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program at what was then known as Alberta Hospital Ponoka. Dr. Gibson moved to Edmonton when he was offered an office with a large orthopedics group, and he remained with his surgeon colleagues for more than 18 years.
His work experience includes a decade in community mental health in rural settings as well as his having served as a psychiatric consultant to the RCMP’s K Division. He has now retired from hospital and mental health clinic practice but on a part-time basis completes independent medical examinations.
